Foreign Diplomats Visit Site of Attack in Ukraine
This morning, leaders of 55 foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Ukraine visited the site of a Russian strike in the capital.
According to Ukraine's foreign minister Andriy Sybiga on Facebook, the diplomats, along with interior minister Ihor Klymenko, visited the site of one of the Russian strikes — a destroyed residential building in the Darnytskyi district of the capital.
«This is a horrific act of war crime. Russian terrorists have killed at least 14 innocent civilians here, including four children. One of the deceased children was born in 2022, during the war. I thank my colleague Minister Klymenko for informing foreign diplomats about the victims and the aftermath of Russian strikes in this and other locations. It is crucial for the world to witness Russian terror, respond, and assist us in stopping this barbarism. I am grateful to all the foreign diplomats who joined us today in honoring the memory of the victims of Russian strikes», — wrote Andriy Sybiga.
He emphasized that Russia is a terrorist state.
«We expect a decisive international response and increased pressure on Russian terrorists, including new strict sanctions and enhanced support for Ukraine. More diplomatic actions will be taken today to organize an international response to the barbaric Russian strikes», — underlined the foreign minister of Ukraine.
