Romanian Foreign Minister Oana-Silvia Cazacu arrived in Ukraine's capital and visited the 'Okhmatdyt' children's hospital, which suffered damage from a Russian missile strike last July.
This marks the first visit by Romania's foreign minister since the full-scale invasion by Russia in 2022.
"This is a strong signal of our unwavering solidarity with Ukraine. I will hold discussions with Ukrainian officials on all matters of mutual interest before continuing my visit to Chernivtsi," stated Cazacu.
In addition to 'Okhmatdyt', the Romanian minister also visited the Superhero School affiliated with the National Cancer Institute.
"This showed me what Ukrainians are fighting for: the well-being of their children, their freedom, and their future. Romania will continue to support Ukraine in its legitimate struggle," she concluded.
