Global Challenges for Ukraine at the G7 Summit
On Tuesday, June 17, during the G7 summit in Canada, a session titled "A Strong and Sovereign Ukraine" is scheduled, featuring not only G7 member states but also invited leaders from other nations.
This information is highlighted in the agenda for the summit taking place in Kananskas, Canada, from June 15 to 17, according to "European Truth".
On June 17, the topic of "A Strong and Sovereign Ukraine" will be discussed at the G7 summit in Canada, with participation from invited leaders from outside the G7.
The agenda states that the day will begin with an official welcome for the invited leaders, followed by a working breakfast of the G7 focusing on "A Strong and Sovereign Ukraine".
Subsequently, a concluding G7 session and a working lunch on the topic of "Energy Security" will wrap up the summit.
On June 16, four working sessions for G7 leaders will address the topics: "Global Economic Outlook", "Economic Growth, Security, and Resilience", "Community Safety Assurance", and "Making the World Safe".
As previously reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky received an invitation to the G7 summit in Canada.
It is anticipated that the G7 leaders will discuss lowering the price cap on Russian oil as part of joint sanctions against Russia, a move that has faced opposition from the US.
The European Union included this reduction in the new sanctions package against Russia.
Most G7 countries are willing to lower the price ceiling on Russian oil, even if the US opts out of this initiative.
