Brian Fitzpatrick's Unannounced Visit to Ukraine: New Opportunities

U.S. Representative Brian Fitzpatrick, a member of the Republican Party, made an unannounced visit to Ukraine.
This was confirmed by President Volodymyr Zelensky in a post on social media platform X, according to "European Truth".
Zelensky mentioned that they discussed "efforts to achieve a sustainable peace, the American proposal for an unconditional ceasefire, and security guarantees for Ukraine".
"Fitzpatrick plans to visit the front lines to meet our soldiers. This is incredibly valuable. Thank you for your support!" – added Zelensky.
The congressman did not announce his trip to Ukraine and had not disclosed any plans in recent days. In a video released by Zelensky's press service, he noted that he visited Kyiv after traveling to Turkey and Poland.
Last month, Fitzpatrick, along with colleagues, presented a bipartisan resolution that solidifies the U.S. stance on not recognizing Russia's claims to occupied Ukrainian territories.
He was also one of the few Republican congressmen who publicly supported Zelensky after Donald Trump labeled him a "dictator without elections".
