The head of the Canadian government highlighted the unacceptability of Kremlin ultimatums, such as the demand for President Zelensky's removal.

“I am very proud of how the Canadian government and Canadians in general support the Ukrainian people. I firmly reject the possibility of achieving peace without Ukraine's participation and any demands from... Putin...,” emphasized Carney.

Regarding a potential peacekeeping operation, the Prime Minister noted that Ottawa still needs to assess the conditions for possible involvement.

He also confirmed Canada's participation in the “Coalition of the Resolute” (coordinated by France and the United Kingdom) and discussions on related issues with the leaders of these countries.
