Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, envoy of the Pope, has brought four ambulances to Ukraine as humanitarian aid.
This was confirmed on April 7 by the press office of the Holy See, according to "European Truth".
Krajewski delivered the four ambulances bearing the Vatican's emblem with the assistance of three Ukrainian drivers.
The vehicles are "fully equipped with medical supplies necessary for saving lives".
The Holy See did not specify where and when the ambulances were delivered.
This marks Krajewski's tenth mission to Ukraine for humanitarian assistance. During one of his previous missions in September 2022, he was caught under Russian fire.
Last year, Pope Francis stated that Ukrainians and Russians are "distant cousins" who need to "understand each other".
