Defense Forces Successfully Neutralize Drone Attack

The Ukrainian air defense forces successfully neutralized 157 out of 171 drones launched by Russian aggressors against Ukraine on the evening of February 1. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their Telegram channel.
Starting at 6:00 PM on Sunday, February 1, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with an "Iskander-M" ballistic missile from temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as 171 strike UAVs of types Shahed, "Herbera", "Italmas" and other types from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Primorsk-Akhtarsk, Millerovo (RF) and temporarily occupied Donetsk. About 100 drones were of the Shahed type.
The airstrike was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 AM on Monday, February 2, air defense forces shot down/neutralized 157 drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits from the ballistic missile and 12 strike UAVs were registered at 8 locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
On February 1, Russian troops attacked a DTEK miners' bus in the Pavlohrad district of Dnipropetrovsk region. According to DTEK Group, 16 people were injured, nine of whom are in serious condition. At least 12 miners have died.
