Drone Attack Update: Enemy Losses
Out of 165 drones that targeted Ukraine on January 4, air defense forces eliminated 137.

Starting from 6 PM on January 4, the enemy launched 9 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and S-300 surface-to-air missiles from Bryansk and Voronezh regions, along with 165 strike UAVs, including Shahed and Gerbera types, from the areas of Milleryovo, Kursk, Shatalovo, and Orel. Approximately 100 of these were Shahed drones.
The response to the aerial assault was carried out by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
As of 8 AM on January 5, preliminary data indicates that air defense shot down 137 drones in northern, central, and eastern Ukraine.
Hits from ballistic and surface-to-air missiles and 26 strike UAVs were registered at 10 locations, with debris falling at 9 locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs remaining in the airspace.
In Kyiv, one person was killed and four were injured as a result of the Russian attack on the night of January 5. Out of 26 patients from a private clinic in the Obolon district, where a hit occurred, 16 were transferred to municipal hospitals in the city.
