Drone Assault: Latest Updates on Ukraine's Air Defense

The air defense units effectively neutralized 84 out of 110 enemy drones that targeted Ukraine in the evening. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
From 6 PM on Monday, December 8, Russian forces launched 110 strike UAVs, including Shahed, "Herbera", and other types from various directions such as Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo (RF), temporarily occupied Donetsk, and Hvardiyiske (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 70 of these drones were Shahed.
The air defense responded with aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 9 AM on Tuesday, December 9, the air defense had shot down 84 drones in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of Ukraine.
It was noted that 24 strike UAVs were hit at 9 different locations.
The assault continues, and several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace.
Parts of Sumy and the Sumy region are without electricity due to a massive Russian strike on the energy infrastructure.
