The Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully neutralized 83 out of 111 drones sent by Russian forces to attack Ukraine on the evening of December 2. This was reported by the Air Forces on their Telegram channel.
Starting from 6 PM on December 2, the enemy deployed 111 strike drones, including Shahed-type, «Herbera», and others, attacking from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chaoida (occupied Crimea). Over 60 of these were Shahed-type drones.
The attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, EW units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 8 AM on December 3, the air defense had downed 83 drones in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
27 strikes were recorded at 13 locations, with debris from downed targets falling at another site. The most damage was inflicted on civilian infrastructure and private households in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions. There are casualties among the civilian population.
