New Insights on Aerial Threats in Kyiv
Since the beginning of the year, Kyiv has been targeted by over a thousand enemy drones launched by Russia. As a result of these attacks, 166 residents of the capital have died, and 866 have been injured, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration's report on Telegram.
“Since the start of the year, we have documented more than a thousand enemy drones attacking Kyiv. This year alone, 866 individuals have been affected, with 166 fatalities. The majority of casualties are due to drones. People associate Russian aggression with drones of the 'Shahed' type,” the report states.
The Kyiv City Military Administration noted that the sound of drones has become a signal of danger for hundreds of communities across Ukraine. Russia is strategically planning routes for the 'Shahed' to fly over cities, instilling fear in civilians.
“What we are experiencing is hard for people from other countries to comprehend. The world is unaware of our experiences because Ukraine stands strong, and our soldiers are steadfast. This is why we are showing the world what Russian terror weaponry looks like, which attempts to kill us,” emphasized the Kyiv City Military Administration.
At St. Michael's Square, near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, visitors can now see firsthand what threatens peaceful Ukrainian cities.
“This drone, brought down by our troops, no longer poses a threat but serves as a reminder of the true face of Russia - ruthless and bloody. By scanning the QR code on the stand, individuals can donate to the 'Drone Fall' initiative from the 'Come Back Alive' fund. We must stop the terror and hold Russia accountable for war crimes against Ukraine,” the Kyiv City Military Administration stated.
As a reminder, the consequences of the Russian combined nighttime attack on November 25 were recorded at more than 13 locations in the capital.
