The air defense forces successfully neutralized 101 out of 114 drones used in the attack on Ukraine on the evening of November 17. This information was shared by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
Starting from 8 PM on Monday, November 17, the aggressors launched four Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov and Voronezh regions, along with 114 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, "Gerbera," and various other types from directions including Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). Approximately 70 of these were Shahed drones.
The aerial assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 8:30 AM on Tuesday, November 18, preliminary data indicated that air defense had shot down/neutralized 101 UAVs in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of Ukraine.
There were recorded hits of four missiles and 13 strike drones at 15 locations, along with debris from downed targets falling at two sites.
