New Damage to Energy Infrastructure Due to Russian Attacks

Due to Russian attacks, new damages to energy facilities have been recorded in Ukraine. By the end of the day, consumption restrictions are being implemented in most regions. This was reported by the NEC "Ukrenergo" on its Facebook page.
"As a result of enemy shelling, there have been further damages to energy facilities in several regions. The consequences of previous massive missile and drone attacks on the energy system are still being addressed. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore the damaged equipment as quickly as possible," the report states.
Due to the aftermath of the attacks, power limitation schedules for industry and hourly shutdowns ranging from 2 to 4 shifts are being applied across most regions on November 10.
Electricity consumption in Ukraine remains high.
"Considering the weather conditions and the consequences of Russian attacks, the need for energy-saving consumption will persist throughout the day. Please limit the use of high-power electrical devices, and shift energy-intensive processes to nighttime when the load on the energy system is minimal. Energy-saving practices by all consumers will help reduce the duration of forced outages for everyone," emphasized Ukrenergo.
