During the night of November 4 to 5, Ukraine faced an assault from Russia involving approximately 80 strike drones, predominantly Shahed type, launched from various locations including Kursk, Orel, and Millerovo. According to the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, around 50 of these drones were identified as Shahed.
The aerial assault was repelled by the efforts of aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
As of 09:00, the Ukrainian air defense had shot down or suppressed 61 enemy drones of various types in the northern, southern, and eastern parts of the country.
Strikes were recorded at 7 locations involving 18 drones, with debris from downed UAVs falling on 2 sites. The attack continues, and there are still enemy drones in the airspace.
