Strike Against Russian Energy Supply
An incident has occurred in the Moscow region, resulting in the disabling of the "Ring" oil pipeline. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on their Facebook page.
On October 31, due to a special operation carried out by the GUR, a critical military infrastructure of Russia was destroyed - the "Ring" pipeline, which supplied resources for the aggressive war against Ukraine.
This critical facility is located in the Ramensky district of the Moscow region.
Despite the presence of anti-drone systems and security, all three lines transporting fuel, including gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel, were successfully destroyed. The GUR confirmed that the pipeline is no longer operational.
Russian special services and repair teams were dispatched to the site of the explosion to assess the damage.
The report states that this successful GUR operation dealt a significant blow to the military capabilities of the aggressor state and its economy, particularly in the Moscow region.
The length of the pipeline was 400 kilometers, with fuel supplied from the Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod, and Moscow oil refineries. Annually, the "Ring" was capable of transporting up to 3 million tons of aviation fuel, approximately 2.8 million tons of diesel, and up to 1.6 million tons of gasoline.
