On the night of October 31, starting at 7 PM, Russia launched an attack involving one ballistic missile and 145 drones. Approximately 90 of them were ‘Shahed’ type drones.
The missile was launched from the Rostov region, while the drones struck from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and occupied Crimea. This was reported by the Air Forces of Ukraine.
“According to preliminary data, as of 9 AM, the air defense managed to intercept 1 ballistic missile and 107 enemy UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types across the north, south, and east of the country,” the statement reads.
Strikes were recorded at 20 locations – 36 drones were involved. As of this morning, the attack is ongoing.
The aerial assault was countered by air force, missile defense units, electronic warfare divisions, UAV systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
