Drone Attack on Volunteers: A New Challenge for Humanitarian Missions

In Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, volunteers from the humanitarian mission "Proliska" were targeted by a drone attack while conducting an evacuation. Fortunately, no one was harmed. This was reported by the organization itself.
"On October 29, our team was transporting civilians from a dangerous city to a safer area. During the journey, an FPV drone attacked our vehicle marked with the humanitarian organization's logo. Thankfully, all passengers survived. Although the vehicle was damaged, it held up. The electronic warfare system it was equipped with diverted the drone away – the explosion occurred just a few meters from us," the statement said.
Thanks to the armored protection of the vehicle, the damages were minimal: the armored windshield was shattered, and the bumper and trim were damaged.
The humanitarian mission "Proliska" reiterates that humanitarian workers are not targets, and all measures must be taken to protect those who save others. 
This incident has once again highlighted the importance of using armored vehicles and electronic warfare tools during evacuations. "We urge you to contribute to important fundraising for the purchase of electronic warfare systems for our operations in the hottest spots," the mission states.
