Elimination of Russian Commander: New Insights
Information regarding the elimination of Russian army commander Vasiliy Marzoev, son of Lieutenant General Arkadiy Marzoev, has emerged on the Telegram channel of Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate.
On October 15, 2025, UAV units of the GUR, while conducting reconnaissance on the Zaporizhzhia front, discovered the positions of Russian drones near the village of Plavni.
"A guided bomb was successfully deployed on the coordinates obtained, targeting the Russian killers. At the time of the strike, Lieutenant Vasiliy Marzoev, commander of the platoon of the 108th Airborne Assault Regiment of the 7th Air Assault Division, was present at the site," noted the GUR.
The video showcases exclusive footage of the destruction of Marzoev and other Russian invaders.
The GUR highlighted that the eliminated Marzoev is the son of Lieutenant General Arkadiy Marzoev, who is implicated in war crimes against Ukrainian civilians in Kherson.
Furthermore, the Security Service of Ukraine has documented crimes committed by five other senior officers of the Russian Armed Forces involved in the massive shelling of the liberated part of Kherson region, including the commander of the 22nd Army Corps of the Black Sea Fleet, Lieutenant General Arkadiy Marzoev.
