On the night of October 26, the Ukrainian air defense managed to neutralize 66 drones launched by Russia. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force Command on its Facebook page.
During the night of October 27 (starting from 18:30 on October 26), the enemy launched an attack with 100 drones of various models, primarily Shahed and Gerbera, from directions including Kursk, Orel, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Approximately 70 of these were Shahed drones.
The attack was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
Preliminary reports indicate that by 09:00, the air defense had either shot down or suppressed 66 enemy drones across the north, south, and east of the country.
A total of 26 drones were hit at 9 different locations. The attack is ongoing, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace.
