Drone Attack: Updated Information on Enemy UAV Destruction
As of 09:00, the Ukrainian air defense forces have shot down/neutralized 72 enemy drones of the Shahed, Gerbera types, and others in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country. This was reported by the press service of the Air Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
"According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense has shot down/neutralized 72 enemy UAVs of the types 'Shahed', 'Gerbera', and others. 47 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 10 locations. The attack continues, with several enemy drones in the airspace," the message states.
It is noted that on the night of October 24, Russian forces attacked the territory of Ukraine with 128 strike UAVs of the 'Shahed', 'Gerbera' types, and other drones from the directions of: Kursk, Millerovo, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, Chauda, Hvardeyske – temporarily occupied Crimea, with about 90 of them being 'Shaheds'.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and drone systems, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The day before, air defense had shot down/neutralized 92 enemy UAVs of the 'Shahed', 'Gerbera' types, and others.
