Successful Defense: Neutralization of Enemy Drones

The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully neutralized 136 out of 164 Russian drones. This was reported by the Air Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from the evening of October 17, Russian forces launched an attack with three S-300 guided missiles from the Kursk region and 164 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, Gerbera, and other models from the directions of Milleryovo, Kursk, Orel, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Approximately 100 of these were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 09:00 on Saturday, October 18, preliminary data indicates that the air defense has shot down 136 UAVs in the north, south, east, and center of Ukraine.
Hits from 27 strike UAVs were recorded at 12 locations, along with debris from downed targets at 4 locations. The attack continues, and several Russian drones remain in the airspace, the Air Forces emphasized.
