The Ukrainian air defense forces successfully neutralized 86 out of 113 drones launched by Russian forces on the evening of October 14. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
Starting at 10:50 PM on Tuesday, October 14, the Russians attacked using 113 drones including Shahed, Gerbera, and others from directions such as Milleryovo, Bryansk, Kursk, and Primorsk-Akhtarsk. Approximately 50 of these were Shahed drones.
The aerial threat was countered by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and drone systems of Ukraine's defense forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 AM on Wednesday, October 15, the air defense had shot down or suppressed 86 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Impacts from 26 strike drones were recorded at 11 different locations, along with debris from downed targets at one site. The attack continues, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
