On the night of September 18 (starting at 9 PM on September 17), the enemy launched a significant attack with 75 drones including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Over 40 of these were Shahed drones.
This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 AM, 48 enemy drones of types Shahed, Gerbera, and others were shot down or suppressed in the north, east, and central regions of the country.
Hits from 26 strike drones were recorded at 6 locations.
