Several trains are delayed for up to 3 hours in the Poltava region due to power outages caused by enemy shelling. There is one reported injury.
This was announced by Ukrainian Railways and the head of the Poltava Regional State Administration, Volodymyr Kogut, on Telegram.
Ukrainian Railways stated: "As a result of the nighttime shelling in Poltava and the temporary power outages, reserve locomotives were deployed. Currently, several passenger trains are delayed for up to 3 hours:
№102 Kherson – Kramatorsk,
№63/111 Kharkiv, Izyum – Lviv,
№64/112 Lviv – Kharkiv, Izyum,
791 Kremenchuk – Kyiv".
As of 07:00, the damage has been localized, and power has been restored.
"Trains (including suburban electric trains) will continue to operate normally," Ukrainian Railways noted.
The head of the Regional State Administration, Volodymyr Kogut, later reported that Russian forces attacked the railway infrastructure in the Myrhorod district.
"As a result, fires broke out, which were contained by the State Emergency Service units. One person was injured," the head of the region stated.
