Drone Strike in Fastiv Region: Damage Assessment and Response
As a result of a drone attack, storage facilities at a logistics center in the Fastiv region of Kyiv Oblast were damaged, along with four private homes and 23 vehicles.
This was reported by Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, via Telegram.
He stated that the enemy targeted populated areas in the region using drones. Air defense forces operated in the area, successfully intercepting some of the threats. There were no civilian casualties, emphasized Kalashnyk. Impact on critical infrastructure was avoided. The aftermath of the attack is being documented in the Fastiv region.
During the night, firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire at a shopping center. While they were responding, the enemy launched another attack, damaging two SES vehicles. Fortunately, no personnel were injured. In the morning, during a new assault, storage facilities at the logistics center caught fire. Firefighters are currently on-site. Overall, four private houses, a storage facility, 14 trucks, and nine cars have been damaged in the area.
Emergency services continue their work to mitigate and document the aftermath of the attack.
