Air Defenses Neutralize Majority of Drones in Night Assault

On the night of September 12, Ukraine's air defense forces successfully neutralized 33 out of 40 Russian drones that attacked from various directions.
According to the Air Force report, the Russian military launched their assault utilizing Shahed drones and other models starting at 10 PM on Thursday. The primary directions of the attacks included Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsk-Akhtarsk, with the majority of the drones being Shahed type. The response to the attack was carried out by anti-aircraft missile troops and mobile fire groups. As of 9 AM on September 12, preliminary data indicated that air defenses managed to shoot down 33 drones in the northern, eastern, and central regions of Ukraine.
There were also recorded hits from six drones on three different locations.
