Nighttime Missile Strike on Ukraine: Casualties and Damage
During the nighttime missile strike on Ukraine on September 10, one person was killed, and five others were injured.
This was reported by the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration Serhiy Tyurin, the head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration Viacheslav Bunechko, and other regional heads via Telegram.
Direct quote from Tyurin: "Three people were injured in Khmelnytskyi district. Medical assistance is being provided. The enemy destroyed a sewing factory, damaged a filling station, transport, and shattered windows in nearby houses."
Details: Relevant services are working on-site, and the extent of damage is being assessed.
Earlier, the head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration Viacheslav Bunechko reported that in Zhytomyr region, one person was killed and another injured due to a Russian attack.
In Vinnytsia region, civilian infrastructure was hit, and one individual was injured.
"Firefighters are working to contain the fire. A total of 81 personnel and 24 units of equipment are involved. One person injured has been hospitalized and is in stable condition. Approximately 30 residential buildings were also damaged in the region," stated the first deputy head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration Natalia Zabolotna.
In total, 26 UAVs and 11 cruise missiles were in the airspace over Vinnytsia.
In Cherkasy region, infrastructure was affected.
"Two Russian missiles and a dozen UAVs were neutralized in the sky. There are no injuries, which is the most important thing. However, there is infrastructure damage," reported the head of the Regional Military Administration Ihor Taburets.
In particular, in the Zolotonosha district, an explosion partially destroyed a barn, killing two cows and igniting a fire. Windows and roofs of five buildings were also damaged.
In the Zvenyhorod district, windows were broken in five buildings (both residential and farm structures), and power lines were affected. Repair works are currently ongoing.
The head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration Ivan Rudnytskyi reported that "several dozen enemy UAVs" were detected over the region.
"As a result of the downing, a fire occurred in one of the production facilities. All relevant services are working at the crash sites... There are no casualties or injuries," noted the regional leader.
One Russian drone was detected and neutralized over Bukovyna. According to the head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration Ruslan Zaparanuk, there were no casualties or damages.
Enemy UAVs and missiles also reached Lviv region. According to the head of the Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi, there were no casualties, and the region's life support systems are functioning normally.
