A fire erupted at an energy facility in the Poltava region following a massive Russian strike on the night of August 27, leaving some consumers without power.
This was reported by the head of the OVA, Volodymyr Kohut, on Telegram.
He stated: "Last night, the enemy launched a large-scale attack on Poltava. Debris falls and direct hits were recorded in the Poltava district. The energy sector facility was affected. Administrative buildings, vehicles, and equipment were damaged. Fires broke out on the premises of the facility."
According to Kohut, both residential and legal consumers were left without electricity.
"As of this hour (8:15 AM – ed.), the fires have been contained, and electricity supply has been restored. Fortunately, there were no injuries," summed up the head of the OVA.
