The city of Pokrovsk has been cleared of enemy groups and individual Russian soldiers.
This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
«Today, the 7th Air Assault Corps showed how Pokrovsk looks. Thanks to the efforts of the 7th Air Assault Corps and adjacent units, the city has been cleared of enemy groups and lone Russians. Ukrainian troops are operating in the city, and local residents are moving around», the statement reads.
It is noted that movement within the city is significantly restricted, but access to Pokrovsk is still possible.
The Ukrainian defense forces have managed to improve the situation in the Pokrovsk direction. No advances have been allowed from the Russian troops.
