On the night of August 14, Russian forces launched an attack using 2 S-300/400 guided missiles and 45 Shahed-type strike UAVs, along with various imitation drones.
This was reported by the Air Forces via Telegram.
It is noted that the strike UAVs targeted frontline areas in Donetsk and Chernihiv regions, while the missiles struck Sumy region.
As of 9:00 AM, preliminary data indicates that air defense forces shot down and suppressed 24 enemy Shahed-type UAVs and imitation drones in the north and east of the country.
There were 21 UAV hits recorded at 12 different locations.
The air assault was countered by aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
