Effective Defense Against Air Assault: Enemy Strikes Neutralized

The air defense forces successfully neutralized two "Iskander-M/KN-23" ballistic missiles and 32 drones used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine on the evening of August 12.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 9 PM on Tuesday, August 12, the enemy targeted Ukraine with 49 Shahed-type strike drones and various imitation drones from directions including Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Shatalovo, as well as two "Iskander-M/KN-23" missiles from the Kursk region.
The strike drones targeted the Donetsk, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions, while the missiles aimed at the Poltava region.
The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.
As of 8 AM on Wednesday, August 13, preliminary data indicated that air defense shot down/neutralized 34 targets: two "Iskander-M/KN-23" missiles and 32 Shahed-type drones, including imitation drones in northern and eastern Ukraine.
There were recorded hits from 17 drones at 15 different locations.
