On the night of August 10, Ukraine faced another attack from Russian forces, who launched 71 strike UAVs of the Shahed type along with various other drones. Out of these, 59 drones were successfully intercepted by our defenders, but unfortunately, there were some hits.
This information was confirmed by the Ukrainian Air Forces via Telegram.
According to the Air Forces: "As of 8:00 AM, our forces have shot down 59 enemy Shahed-type UAVs and imitation drones in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
12 hits from UAVs were recorded at 6 different locations, along with debris falling at 1 location."
It is noted that the invaders launched drones from Russian cities such as Shatalovo, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
Our air defense repelled the attacks using aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
