The air defense forces have successfully neutralized 44 Russian drones, with confirmed hits on 28 of them.

Starting from 21:30 on Thursday, July 31, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using 72 strike drones of the Shahed type along with various imitating drones from directions including Millerovo, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
Air defense operations were supported by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups from the Ukrainian defense forces.
According to preliminary data as of 09:00 on Friday, August 1, air defense systems have downed or suppressed 44 enemy drones across the north, south, east, and center of Ukraine.
Confirmed hits were recorded on 28 drones in 9 different locations. Frontline areas of Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk regions, and Kyiv region were targeted.
