Railway Service Update in Kyiv
As a result of enemy shelling, Kyiv's railway infrastructure has suffered damage.
This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
Passenger trains heading west are now taking alternative routes through Vysneve and Darnytsia, causing delays of up to 2 hours.
Kyiv City Express is currently operating only on the northern semicircle route of Sviatoshyn - Pochaivna - Darnytsia (in both directions). Due to overlap with passenger trains, there may be deviations from the schedule.
We apologize and are actively repairing, with reserve locomotives set to transport trains within the capital as soon as movement on the Sviatoshyn - Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi section is resumed.
Update at 07:30:
The restoration work on the railway in the capital is ongoing, and power has been partially restored, allowing trains on the Fastiv direction to operate on their usual schedule. Trains on the north-western (Sviatoshyn) direction are currently running with reserve locomotives. The Korosten direction trains will run through Pochaivna and Darnytsia — there will be an additional stop on the left bank with a transfer option to Kyiv City Express. The latter operates regularly on the northern semicircle route of Darnytsia — Rusanivka — Livoberezhna — Voskresenka — Pochaivna — Syrets — Sviatoshyn.
Train departures from Kyiv are experiencing delays; we apologize to passengers and are closely monitoring each route. Currently, train No. 705 Kyiv-Przemyśl has departed with a delay of +1:28, train No. 1/123 Kharkiv-Ivano-Frankivsk, Vorokhta with a delay of +4:40, and train No. 21/103 Kramatorsk, Kharkiv - Lviv with a delay of +4:36.
