Consequences of the Night Attack on Kyiv: Rescue Operations Ongoing
In the capital of Ukraine, efforts are ongoing to mitigate the aftermath of the enemy's nighttime aggression.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on its Facebook page, accompanied by recent photographs.
On the night of July 4, the enemy launched another massive strike on Kyiv. Rescue teams are working in several districts of the city.
In the Solomianskyi district, a five-story residential building partially collapsed due to the attack, and the roof of a seven-story building caught fire.
Additionally, several fires broke out in warehouse buildings, on the territory of a service station, and in a garage cooperative. A significant portion of the civilian infrastructure was damaged.
In the Svyatoshyn district, a fire broke out on the 2nd and 3rd floors, as well as in the yard of a neighboring high-rise building, due to a projectile hitting a 14-story residential building. Vehicles were burned. Firefighting teams continue to extinguish several fires in non-residential buildings.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, an uninhabited eight-story residential building was hit by a drone attack, resulting in damage on the first floor.
In the Darnytskyi and Holosiivskyi districts, debris from drones was reported to have fallen.
Approximately 100 units of equipment and over 450 personnel are involved in addressing the aftermath of the shelling in Kyiv, noted the State Emergency Service.
As of 08:44, the number of injured from the strike has risen to 23, reported Kyiv's Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
“Currently, according to medical reports, 23 individuals are known to have been injured from the enemy's attack on the capital. 14 of them have been hospitalized, and others received assistance on-site,” the mayor wrote.
