Release of More Ukrainian Defenders from Captivity
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that another 307 Ukrainian military personnel have been released from captivity.

Zelensky's statement: "This is the second day of the exchange in the format of 1000 for 1000, which was agreed upon in Turkey. In just these two days, 697 individuals have been returned. We expect continuation tomorrow."
Among those freed are soldiers from our armed forces, the State Border Guard Service, and the National Guard of Ukraine (later clarified by the Office of the President that among those released are drone operators from the Unmanned Systems Forces - ed.).
According to the Coordination Headquarters, all 307 released are men of private and sergeant ranks.
Returned military personnel include members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, specifically airborne troops, special operations forces, Naval Forces, Territorial Defense Forces, as well as the State Border Guard Service and the National Guard.
This exchange includes 27 defenders of Mariupol.
In total, those returning home participated in combat operations in the Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk areas.
Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that they also received 307 of their personnel.
What preceded this: On Friday, Ukraine and Russia conducted the first part of the agreement for the 1000 for 1000 exchange, during which 390 individuals were returned. Among them, there were 270 military personnel and 120 civilians.
