Evacuation of Children from Occupied Kherson Territories

Four more children have been evacuated from the occupied territories of Kherson.

Among them is a young man who was forcibly taken to the military enlistment office, where his personal data was illegally added to the list of conscripts.

This information was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

Four more children have returned to Ukraine.

«From the temporarily occupied Kherson region, four more children have been evacuated: three boys and one girl,» the statement reads.

The youngest child rescued is ten years old, while the oldest is seventeen.

According to available information, the 17-year-old boy was forcibly taken to the military recruitment office, where his data was illegally recorded as that of a conscript, and he was even assigned a military specialty.

At present, the released young man is with the other evacuated children in the territory controlled by Ukraine.

Their lives are not in danger, and they are receiving necessary medical and psychological support.

This rescue operation was made possible by the initiative of the President of Ukraine «Bring Kids Back UA» and with the assistance of the charity organization «Save Ukraine».

The regional military administration reports that since the beginning of the current year, 39 children have already returned from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson.
