Germany has confirmed its commitment to continue military assistance to Ukraine, even if the USA ceases its support.
This statement was made by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, as reported by "European Truth".
Pistorius emphasized that the provision of military aid to Ukraine is firmly established in the coalition agreement.
"Should Ukraine fall, and if Putin succeeds in occupying Ukraine or even significant parts of it, this would pose a severe threat to NATO territory and neighboring countries like Moldova and Georgia", he stated.
He further noted that it is not just about solidarity with Ukraine, but also about our security and peace in Europe.
Additionally, Pistorius compared the US proposal for territorial concessions by Ukraine for a peace agreement to capitulation.
Recently, he announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, which will include four IRIS-T air defense systems.
