Budanov's direct quote: "The GUR is primarily composed of highly skilled and motivated servicemen. On average, out of one hundred candidates, only one earns the right to serve in military intelligence…"
The outcome of this approach has been 9 sunken ships and boats of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, successful operations behind enemy lines, and thousands of eliminated invaders."
Details: At the recruitment center, candidates will undergo interviews, basic testing, and receive consultations regarding service.
According to Budanov, those interested in becoming intelligence operatives will be selected carefully, focusing on quality.
The GUR seeks individuals who can adapt, are ready for risk, and can work "on the edge."
"I am confident that thanks to the work of the Center, the number of those wishing to join the Main Intelligence Directorate will increase – primarily in special forces units," Budanov concluded.
