Anatoliy Kush's Exhibition: Contemporary Art in Kyiv
On November 15, the Kyiv City Gallery of Arts "Lavra" will host the opening of an exhibition by prominent sculptor Anatoliy Kush. He will present more than 200 works, many of which are exhibited for the first time, as reported by the KMDA press service.
Among the invited guests will be renowned figures in the art world and representatives of European embassies supporting Ukraine in its quest for independence and sovereignty.
"In his works, the artist seeks to elevate humanity, restoring to it the fullness of life, and 'through the mediation of man, link all supernatural to nature, and through nature, connect all superhuman to humanity,'" the statement reads. Anatoliy Kush's creativity is a remarkable phenomenon not only in the context of Ukrainian art but also in the international scene, fitting organically into the evolutionary line of European art.
Anatoliy Kush's works have gained recognition on the global stage. The artist continues to promote Ukrainian contemporary art, culture, and history at the most prestigious exhibitions and art fairs.
As part of the exhibition project, Ukrainian political scientist, YouTuber, and author of the book "How Putin's Propaganda Works," Mykola Davydyuk, will hold a raffle for a miniature copy of the iconic sculpture by Anatoliy Kush titled "Oranta Ukraine," which adorns the Independence Monument in Kyiv's Maidan. The 57 cm sculpture will be raffled to raise funds for drones and a van for the 210th separate assault regiment.
This exhibition is held for the first time in Ukraine with official support from the UN CSO, the UNESCO Center in Bologna, and the Kyiv City State Administration.
Additionally, for the first time, the ABC channel (USA) will cover the sculptor's exhibition in the program "This week with Bob Muller," dedicated to Ukrainian art amid war.
