A large-scale blood donation drive was held in Sumy, initiated by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv and Sumy regions. Over fifty law enforcement officers and MVS staff participated in this event.
Police from Kharkiv, together with specialists from the Kharkiv Regional Blood Service Center, arrived in Sumy to support their colleagues and conduct this critical blood donation. Police officers, national guards, rescuers, border guards, and doctors — each one, apart from their daily duties, took an additional step to save others.
One donation saves three lives. In times of war, these numbers hold particular significance, as donated blood becomes a lifeline for those defending our freedom, as well as for civilians affected by enemy shelling.
Soon, the collected blood will be provided to those who need it most. This serves as a reminder that humanity and support are the strongest weapons in difficult times.
