Fifth Education Leaders Summit in Ukraine
This September, Kyiv will host the fifth Education Leaders Summit, as announced by Olena Zelenska, Mykhailo Fedorov, and Oksen Lisovyi during a press conference.
The theme this year is "Education that Shapes the Future," which encompasses innovative approaches and technologies. The summit will gather first ladies, gentlemen, Nobel laureates, education ministers, experts, and educators from various countries.
The first day will feature a presentation of research on educational processes in 14 countries, along with an evening event honoring teachers. The second day will focus on panel discussions about access to education and the role of innovations in fostering peace. Summit guests will give open lectures at 12 universities and educational institutions across Ukraine.
Olena Zelenska emphasized the importance of education in modern society, noting the different challenges countries face, such as access to quality education. This year, special guests include teachers who will share their experiences.
Oksen Lisovyi pointed out shared issues like the aging of the teaching profession and the decline of its prestige.
Mykhailo Fedorov highlighted the importance of integrating technology into the educational process, announcing that representatives from IT companies will attend the summit to initiate new projects.
The Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen has become an international platform initiated by Ukraine in 2021 for sharing experiences and addressing humanitarian challenges.
