New Government Action Program of Ukraine
On August 18, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, along with members of the Cabinet of Ministers, presented the new government action program.
«This action program provides the key guidelines we need to overcome the challenges of war and move forward», — emphasized Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
The Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Matviy Bidny, outlined three main areas of work for the ministry within this program:
Sport and sports science reform: adopting European management models, improving the club system, and establishing a network of adaptive sports clubs. Launching OlympicLab — a scientific cluster for innovation and training top athletes.
«Sport embodies essential social values that we are developing through these reforms», — the minister highlighted.
Youth policy: implementing the EU initiative «Youth Guarantee», which opens up opportunities for youth in education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
«This is a systemic reform aimed at improving youth employment situations», — explained Matviy Bidny.
National identity: a cornerstone for unity, security, and state development.
The minister emphasized that establishing national identity is one of the priorities of state policy. National narratives serve as elements of defense capability, with youth leading in the creation and dissemination of these meanings.
All initiatives are aimed at strengthening unity and shaping a better future.
