Official Poster Unveiled for the 16th Odesa International Film Festival
We are excited to announce the official poster for the 16th Odesa International Film Festival.
This year's festival will take place from September 24 to October 4, 2025, in Kyiv, and the official poster has been unveiled.
The poster reflects the current state of Ukraine — scorched, scarred, yet resilient and whole.
Culture, especially film, serves as a vital instrument for healing and unifying the nation.
The iconic figure of Odesa, Duke, is featured on the poster alongside a red heart symbolizing our humanity, resilience, and empathy. This underlines this year's festival slogan — "Resilience is in our DNA."
"The cracks on our poster represent both the marks of trauma and the pathways emerging through them. Some may see a burning land, others — the nervous system of the country. However, there is a symbol that unites us — Duke's heart. It is the heart of Odesa, the heart of our festival. It beats in Kyiv as a reminder of our identity, our sensitivity, and the strength of culture," said Anna Machukh, the festival's General Director.
