“Art Donation 2025” Exhibition: How Blood Donation Unites Ukrainians

30 posters illustrate how donation can save lives.

In honor of World Blood Donor Day celebrated on June 14, a new exhibition titled «Blood Connects» has opened in the lobby of the «Art Donation 2025» metro station.

This was announced by the KP «Kyiv Metro».

This year's theme is — «Blood Connects: Donation as a Vital Aspect of Ukrainian Identity». The organizers, the NGO «Blood Agents», encourage reflection on the values of unity and support that are characteristic of the Ukrainian people.

The exhibition features 30 vibrant and expressive posters that remind us of the opportunity each of us has to save lives through donation.

The organizers emphasize that blood donation has always been important, but since the onset of war, it has become critically necessary, as donated blood is separated into components that can help three patients.

Among the employees of the Kyiv Metro is Honored Donor of Ukraine Yevhen Holdych, who has made over 115 donations. He works as a senior electromechanic in the signaling service. He has dedicated his life to ensuring safety in the metro. 

Overall, about 120 employees of the enterprise actively participate in blood donation.
