Premiere of Documentary Film on Explosives Experts
The premiere of a new documentary titled «Without the right to make a mistake» took place in Kyiv, focusing on the bravery and daily work of Ukraine's National Police explosives experts.
Special guests included the heroes of the film—the explosives experts and their families, who support and wait for them every day.
Director Vasyl Kyivskyi and producer Viktoria Kratinova, founders of the production company «KyivSky», aimed to reveal the truth about the war in Ukraine after the full-scale invasion. Their previous works include «Shape of Fire» about the State Emergency Service and «Battle for Light» about energy workers and soldiers.
«Without the right to make a mistake» is not just about a job; it’s about life. It’s about choices made from the heart and the cost of those choices.
The film pays tribute to the sacrifices of explosives experts, showcasing their professionalism and incredible resilience.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kateryna Pavlichenko expressed gratitude to everyone present for their vital mission of clearing Ukrainian lands of dangerous munitions:
«I want to thank all of you here in this hall. To the families and the explosives experts of the National Police for the crucial work you do for Ukraine, our citizens, and communities. The issue of contamination by explosive devices is becoming increasingly significant for our state. Demining is a top priority task for the Ministry today.»
Deputy Head of the National Police Serhii Kobets congratulated the creative team on the successful realization of the project and thanked them for presenting the behind-the-scenes work of the police explosives experts.
Chief of the Explosives Technical Service Volodymyr Khomenko emphasized that the film features only real stories from their daily lives.
The film «Without the right to make a mistake» is about spirit, love for one’s work, and faith in the future.
