Children's Safety: New Initiatives by Juvenile Police
Juvenile officers organized engaging activities for children and their parents. This event brought together law enforcement, the youngest city residents, and partners who joined the initiative.
Yesterday, a preventive and entertaining event took place at Kontraktova Square, aimed at increasing children's awareness of safe behavior in everyday life, as well as during martial law, the capital police communication department reported.
The police focused on road safety rules, crossing the street, and behavior near vehicles.
Children were also instructed on how to act in case of danger and reminded of the steps to take when encountering suspicious or explosive objects, as well as safety rules for aquatic recreation.
The children enjoyed interacting with the police, familiarizing themselves with their equipment, participating in quizzes, and receiving informative brochures, colorful stickers, balloons, and treats.
At the end of the event, children took photos with the police and shared their positive impressions.
The Kyiv police noted that they will continue to hold such events in the future, as prevention and education in a friendly atmosphere are key to ensuring a safe and responsible future generation.
It is worth noting that Kyiv schoolchildren were informed about how Russian special services recruit suicide bombers. Juvenile prosecutors explained how Russian services exploit teenagers against the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
