The introduction of 5G has sparked numerous conspiracy theories regarding its potential harm to health. However, recent scientific studies debunk these myths.
Researchers conducted an experiment to test whether 5G could damage skin cells. It turned out that 5G frequencies do not cause any changes in cells.
A study published in PNAS Nexus revealed that the impact of 5G frequencies on skin cells is minimal. Even under strong exposure, frequencies do not penetrate beyond a few millimeters.
A team of scientists from Germany exposed skin cells to both 5G frequencies and higher electromagnetic fields. They focused on two types of cells: fibroblasts and keratinocytes.
The results showed that even when exceeding the limits, frequencies did not induce changes in cells. The authors noted that these findings contradict previous studies that did not account for temperature.
“Our data aligns with biophysical facts: at these frequencies, the energy is too low to cause photochemical or ionizing effects”, the researchers stated.
The authors hope that their findings will dispel the myths surrounding the dangers of 5G.
