New Partnership for Young Athletes' Development
The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, represented by Deputy Minister Oleksiy Nikitenko, has signed an agreement with the charity organization «Future for Children Fund» to collaborate.
This memorandum aims to create new opportunities for nurturing the sports potential of Ukrainian children and youth, along with their self-realization through sports.
As part of this collaboration, the partners will launch a multi-sport project called «Path to Success», focused on supporting the Olympic reserve and promoting an active lifestyle among the youth.
The charity fund has also developed the Olympic Dreams international sports camps project. Its mission is to support the country's Olympic reserve, establish a sustainable training process, and gain international sports experience for future victories of Ukraine on the global sports stage.
In the three years of Olympic Dreams' existence:
- 16 outbound sports camps have been held;
- the project has reached 7 countries;
- young athletes from 13 Olympic sports have participated.
A systematic partnership between the state and the charity sector is essential for creating new opportunities for the younger generation of Ukrainian athletes. Joint efforts will contribute not only to the revival of the Olympic reserve but also to engaging more children and teenagers in active leisure, sports, and a healthy lifestyle.
