Google Enhances User Privacy Tools
Google has introduced new features across its tools, including «Your Information Results» and the ability to delete unwanted images from search results.

The «Your Information Results» tool now allows users to remove search results containing their phone numbers, email addresses, or home addresses. Users can also request the deletion of results that contain information like driver's license numbers, passport numbers, or social security numbers.
Users can access this tool in the Google app by tapping their Google account picture and selecting «Your Information Results». First-time users will need to click «Get Started» and then add the personal contact information they want to track. They will then be prompted to include their identification document numbers. Existing users can add their ID numbers and choose which ones they wish to monitor.
Once the information is confirmed, Google will automatically track search results and notify the user if it finds results that contain the specified information. It’s important to note that removing this information from search results does not erase it from the internet, but it can help maintain the privacy of your data.
The update will initially roll out in the U.S. over the coming days, with plans for a wider release in other regions later on.
Google also announced an easier process for requesting the removal of unwanted explicit images from search results. Now, users simply need to click on the three dots under an image, select «Remove Result», and confirm that «This image is sexually explicit». Additionally, users no longer have to report images one by one, as they can now select and submit requests for multiple images simultaneously. Users can also track the status of all requests in the «Your Information Results» section.
